Bonnie then decides to hold a séance with Eleana and Caroline to try to contact Emily to find out what she wants. Despite Elena's efforts, Bonnie and Caroline argue over the medallion when Damon continues to pressure Bonnie to return it to him. Also, Damon tells Stefan the true reason he returned to Mystic Falls involving Emily's necklace, and Katherine.

Season 1, Episode 12: Unpleasantville

Damon, Elena and Stefan attend a school dance with a 1950s' theme, where Alaric introduces himself to Damon whom he suspects is the vampire that killed his wife. Stefan and Damon try to figure out the identity of the new vampire in town who is now stalking Elena in which Stefan gives Elena jewelry filled with Vervain to protect her family and friends while she continues to investigate her true origins. Meanwhile, Matt takes a job at the Mystic Grill as a busboy to make amends meet where he has a run-in with Caroline who becomes more smitten with him. The bartender of the Mystic Grill, Ben, comes to help Bonnie when he notices that Damon is bothering her. Elsewhere, Anna continues hanging around Jeremy to get information about the Gilbert family journal which lands in the hands of Alaric who has plans of his own... as does Anna.

Helt okej film och den följde boken väl. Sevärd.

Handling: Handlingen kretsar kring huvudpersonen Bella Swan (spelad av Kristen Stewart). Hon bor i Phoenix, Arizona, med sin mamma och hennes nya man Phil. Men Phil behöver resa mycket i sitt jobb som basebollspelare, så Bella bestämmer sig för att bo med sin pappa Charlie för att göra sin mamma lycklig. Charlie bor i den regniga småstaden Forks i delstaten Washington. Hon kommer dit i mitten av vårterminen, men får snabbt nya vänner. På lunchen en dag får hon syn på syskonen Cullen, och blir genast intresserad av den mystiske Edward Cullen (spelad av Robert Pattinson). Edward undviker henne till en början, men inser snabbt att han inte kan vara utan henne. Bella börjar få misstankar om Edwards talanger, till exempel att han är väldigt stark, snabb, likblek, kallhudad och att hans ögon byter färg. Till slut kommer hon fram till att han är en vampyr, men det hindrar henne inte från att bli kär i honom. En komplicerad förälskelse tar sin början som gör livet svårt för det omaka paret. När det dessutom dyker upp ondsinta vampyrer i staden får Bella och Edward kämpa för att kunna vara tillsammans.

Som sagt, en ungdomsroman lärde jag mig när jag läste "om jag kunde drömma", så nu tar jag den som en sådan och då blir den helt plötsligt läsvärd. Det är nog som med Harry Potter, man vet att det är ungdomsbok och då ser man genom fingrarna att det är lite töntigt skrivet. Jag kommer läsa alla 4 böckerna av den här serien om Bella och Edward, men jag kommer nog avvakta med de två sista. Nu ska jag hoppa in i en annan vampyrvärld....

Moonligth säsong 1 avsnitt 2-3 (tv-serie 2007)

B-serie men jag gillar handlingen. Jag älskar vampyrer. Jag förstår i och för sig varför det bara blev 1 säsong. Ganska taffligt gjord med trista effekter och kanske inte världens bästa skådisar heller men jag kommer (nog?) härda ut och se alla avsnitt. Men det är inte så att jag längtar till nästa avsnitt. Men jag gillar Alex O´Loughlin i huvudrollen som vampyren Mick St. John.

Trillians reflektion:
Läste boken Twiligt på svenska. Översatt till det töntiga namnet "Om jag kunde drömma". Man undrar ju vem det är som kommer på de töntiga svenska översättningarna. Bättre namn hade ju varit "Skymning". Ångrar att jag inte började läsa serien på engelska. För jag tror faktiskt att den skulle varit bättre på engelska. Nu känns den som en ungdomsroman. Taffligt översatt. Tror jag iaf som inte läst engelska boken. Men om man sålt en bok i 17 miljoner exemplar världen över så kan den ju inte vara lika dålig på engelska? Men jag gillar ändå historien på sitt sätt. Gillar ju vampyrer och kärlek.

Edit: Det är ju för bövelen en ungdomsroman. Snacka om att känna sig dum :-/ hehe.



Handling: "Tre saker var jag absolut övertygad om. Den första var att Edward var vampyr. Den andra var att det fanns en del av honom - och jag visste inte hur stark den delen kunde vara - som törstade efter mitt blod. Och den tredje var att jag var villkorslöst och ohjälpligt förälskad i honom. Isabella Swan flyttar till Forks, en liten regnig sovstad i Washington. Hon förväntar sig att hennes nya liv ska bli lika långtråkigt som staden själv. Men när hon träffar den gåtfulle och förföriske Edward Cullen tar hennes liv en oväntad och farlig vändning.
